Elaine Robson is a qualified teacher who taught in a local school for many years gaining expertise in leading PE, Science, PSHE education and Healthy Schools.

Her belief in the value of the Healthy Schools programme, not only as a way to address healthy inequalities but also as a school improvement tool, led to the role of local authority  advisor for health and wellbeing in 2006.

Elaine now supports schools to develop effective policy and practice related to all aspects of health and wellbeing with a particular focus on high quality PSHE education, including statutory relationships and sex education and health education.

With a keen interest in mental health and emotional wellbeing Elaine has a Masters in Education focusing on the positive impact a whole school approach to mental health can have. She continues to be committed to supporting all schools to embed a truly whole school approach to mental health to create a culture where all pupils can thrive.
