This six-hour leadership programme explores the key strategies which effective middle leaders use to bring about a positive change. It is applicable to both phase and subject leaders and is of particular value to colleagues in the early stages of their careers.
The programme can run across 4 x 1.5 hour after school sessions, 6 x 1 hour afterschool sessions or form part of a professional development day. Participants will explore:
- evidence gathering around the state of play
- selecting priorities
- developing a leadership narrative
- realistic action planning
- monitoring with precision
- feedback versus feedforward
