Christina is an experienced education leader with a strong background in HR and People Management. She holds a Master’s degree in Strategic Human Resource Management and has worked across both public and private sectors, partnering with Senior Leaders, Directors, and Boards to drive meaningful change and build effective employment relationships.
Her career has spanned a wide range of organisations—large and small—across local and international settings. Christina has helped shape and implement people management strategies, policies, and practices in both unionised and non-unionised environments, consistently fostering strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
In her current role, Christina serves as a strategic leader in education, working with schools and local authorities at both regional and national levels. She brings deep operational insight and practical experience, offering valuable support to school leaders and governors.
As the strategic lead with Education North Tyneside, Christina oversees safeguarding across the borough. She leads on key areas such as Safer Recruitment, Safer Working Practices, and the development of a safer school culture. This work is supported by a highly skilled and specialist team who provide operational advice and guidance to schools.
