Claire is a qualified teacher with experience in a range of primary settings.
She has extensive cross-phase experience of teaching using technology across the curriculum. Since joining the local authority Claire has worked with schools to support them in their development of the computing curriculum.
She is a curriculum lecturer for NT SCITT and has delivered training to other regional ITT including sessions on developing computing pedagogy, improving computing subject knowledge and online safety and safeguarding.
Claire works closely with the professional organisations Computing at School (CAS) and the Digital Schoolhouse. Her areas of expertise are digital collaboration, the use of unplugged computing and the development of computational thinking.
