Elaine Chaplin is an experienced nursery manager, managing an Ofsted rated outstanding provision prior to joining the Education North Tyneside service.

She has extensive experience in supporting managers in childcare settings with professional development. Elaine holds a BA(Hons) Early Years Practice and a Masters degree in Professional Practice.

As a local authority advisor, she offers advice and support to settings in particular with EYFS reforms and statutory framework checks. Elaine has a passion for improved outcomes for vulnerable children in particular two-year olds.
