Jade is a fully qualified and experienced primary school teacher with a broad and diverse background in education, spanning early years to secondary settings.
With over 15 years of senior leadership experience, Jade has supported children aged 2 to 16, demonstrating a lifelong commitment to improving outcomes for all learners, particularly those with additional needs.
Jade holds the National Award for SEN Coordination (NASENCO), which she completed through the University of Cumbria in 2012. As an experienced SENDCo, she has led SEND provision across multiple settings, working both at a school level and in a strategic capacity. In her role as a Lead SENDCo, Jade provided training, guidance, and hands-on support to schools across the local area, helping them to strengthen inclusive practices and improve provision for pupils with a wide range of special educational needs.
In addition to her SENDCo expertise, Jade is a certified Thrive Practitioner, trained in supporting children's emotional and social development. She is also a qualified Mental Health First Aider, with a strong focus on promoting mental health awareness and early intervention strategies within school environments. Her training and professional interests extend to trauma-informed practice, attachment theory, and safeguarding, where she has developed a deep understanding of how these areas intersect with educational achievement and pupil well-being.
Jade has a particular passion for supporting pupils with SEMH needs. She works closely with pastoral teams, families, and external agencies to build comprehensive support plans that are pupil-centred and strength-based. Her approach to leadership is collaborative, reflective, and underpinned by a belief that every child deserves access to high-quality, inclusive education.
