Multi Skills course, offering a good range of construction skills.

The Construction Skills course will appeal to you if you are the type of person who likes to do hands on practical work and you are unsure of which route to take.

You will be trained in:

• Preparation of work areas prior to starting work.
• Preparation of surfaces
• Application of paint by brush and roller
• Using a tape measure to calculating area and length.
• Using a spirit level correctly.
• Calculating amount of materials required to complete a job.
• Basic knowledge of Health and Safety
• The safe use of low level access equipment (Hop ups and Step ladders) Basic
• Tiling skills (Wall and Floor)
• Basic Bricklaying skills
• Basic Plastering skills (Rendering, Boarding and Skimming)

Your course will include access to work experience on a variety of internally organised Projects to help bridge the gap to a Apprenticeship or Employment.
