The aim of this collaborative package is to develop an effective and sustainable whole school approach to metacognition.

Developing approaches, language and tools to deepen the learning which takes place in and out of the classroom resulting in teachers who are more confident and re-energised in their passion for learning and children who are more resilient and independent learners.

Working with a specialist to develop the objectives and success criteria of the project, which is bespoke to your school, enhancing what you already do well and tackle the barriers to learning. The project will build a depth of understanding in the research on metacognition and develop the pedagogical confidence and practice of your staff. Clear impact measures designed with you will create a reflective learning practitioner model which will be sustainable in your school. The project will include collaborative planning, professional training, suggested reading and stimulus pieces and leadership coaching.

This is a whole school project to change the culture of learning.
