Welcome to our Summer Book-nic!
Bring your favourite book, get the sandwiches and cakes ready and lay out a blanket!
On Friday 4th July, schools across North Tyneside and beyond came together for a virtual reading picnic to celebrate and promote reading for pleasure.
All of our resources are still available so that you can host a book-nic in your school any time you like. Share the joys of reading with pupils, teachers, parents and the wider community.
