The Big Maths Party 2026
On Wednesday 20th May 2026, thousands of children across North Tyneside will once again come together for a spectacular celebration of mathematics at the second Big Maths Party.
This year’s theme, 'The Magic of Maths', invites pupils to experience the joy, wonder and creativity at the heart of mathematics — and the event is completely free for all schools.
Early Years Conference 2026

On Friday 3rd July 2026, schools across North Tyneside and beyond will come together for our second Summer Book-nic - a virtual reading picnic to celebrate and promote reading for pleasure.
FIRST LEGO League Explore festivals
FIRST LEGO League Explore is an exciting STEM programme for 6-9 year olds. At our festivals, teams will come together to present their project work on this year' archaeological 'Unearthed' theme. They'll show off their building and coding skills with a moving LEGO model and their project work with a team poster board. Reviewers will take in their work and they'll be lots of fun STEM activities.
